Injured to Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif was promoting breast and cervical cancer awareness this past weekend at an initiative by the Cancer Patients Aid Association in Mumbai. But the talk at the do seemed centred around the diva's right hand.
Spotted in a short pink number, in sync with the colour that defines the breast cancer cause, Katrina's right wrist was wrapped in a bandage that matched the colour of her dress.
Fresh out of the back-to-back successes of Ek Tha Tiger and Jab Tak Hai Jaan - her two releases this year - Katrina is getting into the action mode for Dhoom 3, co-starring Aamir Khan.
"Katrina had an accident while rehearsing for some heavy-duty action scenes for Dhoom 3 in a studio. She fell down while performing a stunt and tore a ligament in her right hand," a source from the unit of the film said.
The weekend cancer event, titled Teal & Pink Awareness Programme, saw Katrina distributing gifts to survivors of breast and cervical cancer. Women from various segments of the society and opinion leaders were also part of the do, hosted by CPAA head Y.K. Sapru.
"Katrina is among the Bollywood celebrities who have been regularly associated with the cause of cancer over the recent past along with Aamir and Imran Khan. The presence of these eminent personalities definitely boosts the cause," a CPAA source said.
After the event, hounded for a few photo-ops, Katrina patiently spent some time with the media. She clearly enjoys success, she said, but does not feel very much about being at the top, adding that she prefers spending her free time with friends, most of whom are not actors.
Katrina, who was voted the most downloaded Indian celebrity of 2012 for the fourth year in a row in a recent poll, will star opposite Aamir for the first time on screen in Dhoom 3.
