Among all the heroines that Indian cinema has seen in the last two decades, the place that Aishwarya rai Bachchan has created for herself has been phenomenal. She became the epitome for class, elegance and above all, the perfect example for a perfect Indian woman. Recently, Aish got to share few candid thoughts.
She was speaking at an interview with the famous Sir David Frost when she revealed about her first lip lock experience. This happened for the film ‘Dhoom 2’ with Hrithik Roshan. Aish reportedly revealed she was not at all comfortable but eventually did that. However, she recalled how that became a major issue and she received legal threats.
Even today, Aish reportedly mentioned she is very uncomfortable doing such scenes onscreen and in that process she also declined even international films. ‘Dhoom 2’ was the first time when she decided to try out something like that through Indian cinema and that experience was good enough.
She also recalled how the lip kisses have increased in today’s films but not all audience are coming to terms with it totally. She reiterated that public display of affection is not that common in Indian culture. She also mentioned that in western movies the kiss brings the emotion but in Indian cinema, it is expressed through song and dance.
