anushka comment on damarukam

It is well known that Kodi Ramakrishna's movie Ammoru majorly inspired actresses Soundarya and Ramya Krishnan, devotionally. In a similar fashion, Anushka has also been inspired by her latest release, Damarukam! Talking about this, Anushka said, "I have been a devotee of Lord Shiva, since my childhood days. Rather than as an artist, I worked for the film like a devotee. This is as big a role as Arundhati was." She added that she was reminded of her childhood days while shooting for the movie! In a lighter moment, Anushka said that she was scared by Pasupathi's character Andhakasura, in the movie!
